Metrixnano combines manufacturing and inspection processes for custom precision components, optical lenses and optical tooling. The appropriate route depends on your material grade, part geometry, critical tolerances and surface requirements.

Choose the process around the drawing

• Diamond machining: for suitable optical surfaces and precision tooling, subject to material compatibility and geometry review.
• Precision and jig grinding: for suitable profiles, datums and functional features.
• UVM and CNC machining: selected according to material, access and component requirements.
• Molding and coating: the required process, tooling, finish and outsourced or in-house scope should be confirmed in the quotation.

Precision can reach 0.5 μm on suitable features, subject to drawing review and an agreed measurement method. Dimensional tolerance, optical form error and roughness are separate requirements. Identify each critical characteristic and its acceptance criteria before selecting a manufacturing route.
